Worker's Conference Q3 2026
Members mark your calendars and plan to participate in the quarterly worker’s conference meeting, Monday, June 29th at 7pm.
2026 Women's Day
Women’s Day celebration will conclude on Sunday, June 28 during 10:50am worship with Minister Rukiya Davis as the featured speaker. The theme is: Be Bold! Be You! Fearless and Fierce! Ladies are asked to dress in casual wear with their Be Bold, Be Fearless and Fierce t-shirt on Women’s Day. Invite women from all walks of life to join us as we celebrate womanhood.
Power of Her
Women’s Day 2026 continues Saturday, June 27 from 10am to 12 noon here at the church with a special session entitled “The Power of Her.” Please see the Women’s Ministry Planning Team to sign up in the foyer after worship.
VBS 2026: The Illumination Station
Vacation Bible School 2026 begins June 22 through Friday, June 26 from 6pm to 8pm here at the church. This year’s theme is The Illumination Station, based on John 8:12. Champion Marriage Ministry: RETREAT
Friday, March 28 thru Sunday, March 30th, the Champion Marriage Ministry is inviting all couples to the Marriage Retreat! It will be held at the Embassy Suites Hotel, 707 East Butterfield Road in Lombard, IL.
The theme is “Back To The Garden”, Genesis 2:25 and our wonderful instructors again are Pastor and Co Pastor James and Coleda Blair of Able Ministries in Maywood, IL.
The cost is $322.00 per couple for 2 nights in a King Room with 2 cook to order breakfasts and complimentary daily parking and 4 sessions. The non refundable registration fee is $67.20 per couple covers the cost of the conference rooms each day is due March 1st payable via PushPay by selecting the CMM Retreat Fee Tab.
To secure your room call the hotel at 1.800.564.7512 with credit card handy and request the Bread of Life Church rate by March 1st or simply align the camera app on your phone with the QR code on the screen to secure your room. Family and Friends Day is Sunday, February 23rd! All members are requested to invite family and friends to spend Worship with us starting with Family Word Hour at 9:30am followed by Worship at 10:50am. All are welcomed!

Good Friday
Join us this Good Friday as we commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. We’ll be at Divine Mercy Seat, pastored by Darryl Battie. The theme: Women at the Cross. There will be seven speakers. Our own, Rev. Glenda Ellerson and Rev. Charmaine Schine, will be two of the speakers. Reflect with us on Jesus' Seven Last Words from the cross, expressions of forgiveness, compassion, and surrender. Experience a time of deep contemplation and gratitude for Christ's ultimate sacrifice. All are welcome to this solemn service of remembrance and reflection.
